VRIDHACHALAM OUTCROP: Named after Patti village, Vridhachalam area, TamilNadu.

Synonym: Patti Limestone

Lithology and Thickness

Limestone. Pale, coarse-grained, impure, bioturbated grainstone (calcarenite) with interlayers of marl and thin shale and siltstone seams and lenses of limestone (Sundaram et al., 2001).
